You may find it very useful and informative (I do!) to use various statistical packages to monitor visits to your site, and usage of your content.
Keeping an eye on how many people are viewing your pages can be very helpful. You can find out how long visitors are staying, which of your pages are the most popular, the routes that users take through your site, where they came from and the route by which they leave. This information can help you to work out which of your pages are most popular and why.
Most of the sites listed below offer free statistical tools with the option of upgrading to a paid package for a more in-depth analysis. Some of them require you to keep a button on your page, others work simply with a piece code that will be invisible to your visitors. Take a look at them and choose one or more that is right for you.
